This is third year multidisciplinary project, designed to a brief provided by industry. The project timeline spanned four months, encouraging rapid iterative development.
You work for Intergalactic Freight Control, a space traffic company. being stationed on a backwater area of the galaxy, you don’t have much else to do besides fiddle with your equipment. One day however, you pick up a strange signal in a language you’ve never seen before…

Lighting tests conducted in After Effects with 2D assets on a 3D plane
With the main mechanic of our game revolving around translation and deciphering words, I made a fictional language that was later turned into a font for the game.
Interface backgrounds were developed for the deciphering gameplay.
A interface and UI frame was also made for the transponder minigame.
I edited a game trailer for the main release (Minus the gameplay footage, assets were produced by me)
